Camp Kiah is gearing up for a golden adventure these January School Holidays, and we’re recruiting bright-eyed diggers ready to chase fortune across the Victorian frontier.

Whispers have swept through Avenel’s rugged ridges and Wallan’s lively crossroads—rumours of a long-lost cache of gold buried somewhere on the farm. Just like in the roaring days of the 1850s, when hopeful diggers trekked across the bush with nothing but grit, hope, and a dream of striking it rich, we’ll be following the tracks of those daring fortune-seekers.

Dust off your boots, grab your pans, and get ready to create treasure maps, uncover clues, and outsmart rival prospectors as we join our Old Timer and Captain on a bold quest through the goldfields. Every creek bed could hide a glittering discovery… but only if you’ve got the courage to look.

2 day camp

Max attendance: 30 young people

Program:

GWCs are a taste of our SHP over a 48hour period. They serve as an ideal introduction to CK before attending a SHP.

Camp themes change monthly, allowing young people to attend 1 GWC per theme.

Mon-Thurs & Thurs - Sun

Frequency: Vic School Holidays

Staff to young person ratio: 1 to 4

Max attendance: 30 young people

Cost: $2299+ GST

Program:

4 core group activities targeted to engage young people in art/ craft, therapeutic reflection, outdoor adventure and gross motor movement/ play.

Camp themes change each SHP. Young people may attend two consecutive camps.

CK minis retreat: made for 4-8 year old’s working on emotional regulation through 4 days of fun therapeutic activities and play.

CK teens retreat: made for 14-17 year old’s working on independence and life skills with mentoring by trained therapeutic staff.

CK NDIS Respite: made for NDIS participants working on learning to play and regulate emotions through therapeutic based play.

These stays can be suited to the needs of the young person and their families.

CA is a bush adventure therapy camp experience.  Surrounded by the Australian bush & comprehensively trained staff this camp encourages participants to get out of their comfort zone and increase their knowledge of themselves, others and the environment

Play n Grow allows young people a fun and supportive environment to enjoy the camp experience whilst helping to meet their NDIS goals.

We do this by assisting young people to develop the foundational skills needed to play, make friends and enhance their life skills

2 day camp

Friday - Sunday

Frequency: 4 times per year

Staff to young person ratio: 1 to 3

Max attendance: 20 young people

Cost: $1810+ GST

For young people aged between 4 and 8 years, working on emotional regulation through therapeutic play.

Throughout the weekend, the young people are introduced to six feelings monsters. Supporting them to learn about emotions and how to regulate them.

2 day camp

Max attendance: 12 young people

For young people aged between 14 and 17 years, MG tailored to teens allowing them to stay engaged with camp.

A program supporting independence and life skills with mentoring from therapeutic staff.

For young people aged between 17 and 21 years, YA allows young people to remain engaged with CK when our other group programs cease. 

A very relaxed, young person lead program that creates a family environment, where participants can help with meals, set their own bed time and maintain relationships
